Kimchi Buchimgae (Kimchi Pancakes)

Kimchi buchimgae is a variety of Korean pancake-like dish, primarily made with sliced kimchi, flour batter and sometimes other vegetables. However, meat (ground pork) is also often added. The dish is often recognized in Korean culture as a folk dish of low profile that anyone could make easily at home with no extra budget.

It is usually served as an appetizer, snack or banchan (side dish).

Bibimbab (Korean Mixed Rice with Meat and Assorted Vegetables)

One of the most popular dishes in Korean cuisine, the word literally means “mixed rice”. Bibimbap is a nutritious rice dish of steamed rice and pre-cooked vegetables (usually spinach, bean sprouts, carrots, mushrooms, egg and lettuce. It can also contain ground beef but can be ordered without meat.
