Thai minced pork omelet 101.

Description: This is a Thai street food classic, it is quite different from a normal western style omelet as it’s more of a deep fried omelet, if you have your oil at the right temperature you can achieve a crispy golden yellow exterior and a fluffy inside that shouldn’t be too oily. The seasoned flavour comes from the Thai fish sauce which imparts moreish salt and sweet notes to the omelet.

A veggie drink a day keeps the doctor away!

I have not met doctor for years from being sick. Since I stayed with my aunt’s family. I noticed one thing that could be a reason for my healthy life style-The veggie drink!

Every morning , I wake up at 6.15am. instead of 9am. or 10am. because I am in charge of doing veggie juice for the whole family. I love this part of the job. It is healthy and the taste is really good. Here are the process of making a nice healthy drink….

Sue's kitchen

I did my first Padthai in New Zealand.

I love Pad Thai , that was what Sue told me. Sue was my host in Raglan where it was a scene in the movie “Endless summer”, a surfer paradise. But I didn’t have any plan to go on the surfboard at that time. I just need somewhere near Auckland to escape the crazy Rugby World Cup 2011 event that caused full booked accommodations in New Zealand’s capital city.

The reason Sue accepted me to be her helper was that she was injured by playing a netball. She wanted someone to help her doing housework , especially cooking. Well I would more than happy to be a cook in the house of Sue , a nurse who have to take care herself during her injury.
